Dophin Canister Filter

The DoPhin Canister Filter is an advanced external filtration system designed for efficient aquarium maintenance, featuring a user-friendly Self-Priming System. This system simplifies the initial setup by allowing users to easily vacuum air from the filter body and fill it with water using a manual pump knob, eliminating the need for manual siphoning. The filtration process is managed through a multi-stage bucket system that utilizes various media types to ensure crystal-clear water. This includes activated carbon for removing odors and chemical impurities, quartz bio-rings for biological filtration, and a combination of black sponges and white filter wool for mechanical debris removal.

The unit is constructed with a secure locking mechanism involving long and short safety locks and a high-quality O-ring to prevent leaks. Installation involves connecting valve taps to the pump head, which are then secured to flexible piping leading to the intake and outlet U-pipes within the aquarium. For optimal water distribution and aeration, the system includes a rain bar and diffuser. Once the canister is filled with water via the priming pump, the system is plugged into an electrical supply to begin a continuous, high-output filtering cycle that maintains a healthy aquatic environment.
