Aquarium Gravel Ocher Fine is a natural sand mix with a grain size of 0 – 2 mm and a pleasant warm ocher color. Its fine, gently rounded grains make it ideal for bottom-dwelling fish species such as Corydoras, as they can search for food in the ground safely. At the same time, the material provides optimal conditions for plant growth and its loose structure supports the formation of strong roots.
Especially in combination with brown natural stones, wood, or roots, the ocher colored gravel fits harmoniously into the overall appearance and emphasizes the natural effect of the aquarium. The substrate is CO2-resistant, neutral to water and does not affect water values – an important prerequisite for a stable ecosystem in the aquarium.
As this gravel is a natural product, it does not contain any harmful substances. Although it is pre-washed, additional cleaning is recommended before placing it in the aquarium.
